How this Poshmark estimate works

Poshmark uses a tiered commission: sales below a price threshold (commonly $15) are charged a flat fee (commonly $2.95), while sales at or above that threshold are charged a percentage commission (commonly 20%). This calculator checks your sale price against the threshold and applies the matching fee automatically.

If you offer a shipping discount out of your own proceeds, enter it to see it subtracted from your net payout alongside the commission. Both the threshold and the rates are editable in case Poshmark updates its fee schedule or your account has different terms.

Poshmark fee calculator FAQ

How does Poshmark calculate its seller fee?

Poshmark uses a tiered commission structure: sales under $15 are charged a flat fee (commonly $2.95), and sales of $15 or more are charged a percentage commission (commonly 20%). This calculator lets you edit both the threshold and the rates if Poshmark updates its fee schedule or your account has different terms.

Why is there a flat fee instead of a percentage below the threshold?

Poshmark applies a flat fee on lower-priced sales so the commission doesn't eat an outsized share of cheap items. Once the sale price crosses the threshold, Poshmark switches to a percentage-based commission instead, which is what the "below-threshold flat fee" and "above-threshold commission rate" fields represent.

What is the seller shipping discount field for?

Some Poshmark sellers offer a shipping discount or promotional credit to buyers, paid out of their own proceeds rather than passed through Poshmark's shipping system. Enter that amount here if it applies to your sale, and it will be subtracted from your net payout alongside the commission.

Should I include tax in the fee base?

Only toggle "Include tax in fee base" on if you have confirmed, from Poshmark's own documentation or your payout history, that tax is included in the amount commission is calculated on. By default this calculator computes commission on the sale price alone, since that matches Poshmark's typical seller payout structure.

Can I use this Poshmark calculator on mobile?

Yes. The calculator is fully responsive and works on phones and tablets, so you can check your expected payout from anywhere, including right after listing an item in the Poshmark app.
